Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Keeter Walters
Liz Walters age 95 passed away on August 4, 2019.
Liz was born on October 8, 1923 to the late Charles and Mary Keeter of Roanoke Rapids. Liz was one of seven children, brothers Bernard and William, sisters Myrtle, Dorothy, Lucille and Earlene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monte L. Walters, Sr. two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter Jessica.
Liz is survived by her children, Monte L. Walters, Jr., Scott E. Walters, Sr., Deborah Gennarelli; two grandchildren, Scott Walters, Jr. and Nicole Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Logan and Taylor Walters; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved sister, Earlene Oliver of Roanoke Rapids.
Crypt-side Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11am in Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Bane Angles officiating.
The family will receive friends after the services at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Englewood Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1350 South Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
